Festival 2018 – Day 2
2 Wood Pairs

After a much needed drop of rain overnight day 2 of the festival started overcast and about 10*C cooler than yesterday. This did not dampen the level of bowls being played with just about everybody getting to grips with the change in playing conditions.

With slightly reduced entry only 6 groups were used, this meant that 2 best 2nd place teams would also go through. This added an extra level of competition with everyone trying to make sure they got as close as possible in hope of bagging one of the best losers spots.

This was then followed by an excellent knockout stage and, as yesterday, the final was decided on he last end the winners starting 1 down but picking up a 2 to take the title.
