Festival 2018 Singles Competition
Well after a slightly worrying start to the day where it seemed like more players were dropping out than turning up, it did turn around and we filled all of the spots for the competition.
As usual the competition was firmly but fairly fought by all and the knockout stages saw some excellent bowls and some tight finishes. But, again as last year, the most consistent performer was Phil Parker who retained his title from 2017, winning by one shot on the last end of the final against Waylon Clark
Well done to everyone who took part, and now we can look forward to the 2 wood pairs competition tomorrow.
